Scott Kelby Worlwide Photowalk 2019
Yesterday was a good day. A bunch of photo aficionados in Panama joined together with other thousands of photographers around the world to celebrate Scott Kelby's photowalk. This is a yearly rendezvous and I happy to report it is my fourth. I met old friends, and as usual, a lot of Canon fans, Sony cameras are also coming more frequent among enthusiasts, and those packing light carried their respective Fujifilm cameras, me included, tagging alone with the petite Fuji X-T20 and the XF 35mm f2, a 50mm equivalent camera combo, which is becoming more often in my latest walkabouts. I also entertained the Nikon FE2 and what was left of my Kodak Tri-X roll.
As I said, it was a good day, sunny, hot throughout Calidonia, and cloudy and cool when walking through Casco Viejo. Just wished I had a cold beer. I am not exactly a drinker, but after a long walk under the sun, a cold one always feels good; nevertheless, I didn't have a chance to enjoy one since I had to go pick up my son after his football practice.
This photowalk event comes with a contest, a best picture among all enthusiasts around the globe. That's a lot of competitors. I took some pictures, but I have found hard to see a winning one. Do you?
