Country Holidays and the X-T2
A few days off from work, and after spending some fun time with the family, I decided it was time to go back to the streets. Currently, Panama is on holidays and I felt to go get some pictures at Casco Viejo inspired by these days. Different government offices are located in El Casco, which means panamanian flags are everywhere, so I was hoping to find some good compositions.
I regret to inform I had to let go the Fuji X-T20, a beauty of a camera, small, fast, and retro looks. I miss it already, but I have to make space in the budget for my next acquisition, one that has been in the works for quite some time. Instead, I made goods with the X-T2 combo, which included the gorgeous XF 23mm 1.4 and and wide angle lens, the XF 10-24mm (hoping to get pictures of some cathedrals).
The X-T2 proved itself perfect the past few weeks when taking pictures for my boy's high school football games. The ergo was great, it was lightning fast, great low light performance, and it felt very comfortable with my big hands. It did not disappoint in the streets, indeed, it has never missed a beat.
Sun was a bit too harsh being midday, nevertheless a good time to practice and keep eyes sharp.
